 The Mattingley Restoration Company is an established furniture restoration business, run by Andrew Dunn who undertakes the skilled restoration, repair and conservation of both antique and modern furniture.
Andrew completed his initial apprenticeship in 1984 as a cabinet maker and French polisher. He then worked for several local antique dealers in Hartley Wintney and further developed and refined his skills.
His early introduction to the world of antiques and their restoration has provided him with an invaluable wealth of experience and a real passion for sympathetic restoration.
Having spent over 25 years in the furniture restoration field undertaking work mainly for the good quality antiques trade in London and the Home Counties he has established a reputation for high quality work and reliable service.
Apart from his many private customers Andrew also continues to provide a full restoration service for trade dealers as away far as London. Local customers have included Bramshill Police College and Heckfield Place for both of whom he has carried out restoration and French polishing work.
