Furniture restoration and repair ... to all types of antique and modern furniture from Chippendale to ercol, including structural repairing, matching and repairing of veneers, marquetry work and repairs
Cabinet making ... a full range of cabinet making skills including structural repairing. We use only traditional techniques with a selection of quality period timbers and veneers
Furniture alterations and adaptations ... such as dining table extensions with the addition of extra leaves; furniture reductions or enlargements, for example withwardrobes and chests when moving house; conversions of existing tv/video cabinets to accommodate modern plasma/LCD screens. Carving and woodturning ... to replace missing parts as we can copy and repair original carvings and turnings
Traditional hand finishing ... to remove scratches, dents, heat or water marks, very often covered by household insurance, using a variety of techniques rom traditional French polishing to modern lacquers
Professional ‘care and clean' ... an on-site visit to clean, wax and carry out minor repairs (subject to site survey) with woodworm Treatment also being available
Flood damage repair ... Water can cause a disproportionate amount of damage; it can swell and discolour timber, lift veneers but in most cases we can repair the damage and it is usually covered by household insurance.
